As expected it was packed. People from everywhere were there to cheer on their cyclist.

These people had the best view. Wouldn't it be weird to have the Tour de France go down your road?

Gary got up on a bench to be able to see over the crowds.

For over an hour we waited for the cyclists while parade floats went past.

Most of the floats were just ads for local business. Like this one is for a grocery.

This is a bottled water company. They were hosing down the crowds, but the water turned to mist before it actually hit anyone. It was fun to watch people worry about getting wet.

Local cable company.

Most of the floats were throwing some sort of suvenier to the people. I got 2 blow up sticks that are supposed to make noise. I almost got hit by a t-shirt so i ducked instead of catching it. Some little boy got the shirt.

There were tons more floats but I doubt you care to see them all.
