Here I am in Stockholm. I got here the evening of the 9th of
August to visit my friend Erin for the weekend. You know, I just thought
I would pop over to Sweden for the weekend. Everyone does that right?
Here is Erin's hotel room at the Royal Viking. She was kind
enough to let me stay there with her. You will have to ask her sometime
about the Mayan-Celtic-Viking Art there. She would basically
kill me for putting this picture out there..so shhhh! don't tell.
Here is Princess Erin now. Oh and Kevin's arm. We were on the
way to Junibacken which Al said was swedish for the sound that
a small dog makes. Or something like that.
And to stick with Erin's and Al's trip moto (Annoying one Swede
at a time.) here is some building. Never did stop to see what
is was. We had to get to Junibacken.
Erin and I dressed like twinkees. Totally on accident i assure
you.
Ok there are so many pics, they had to be divided
up by locations. So click on where you wanna go!
On the 11th, Erin and I took off by ourselves for the afternoon and saw the sites. Mostly the Royal Palace. And look here it is!
Here is the royal guard (well one of them) at the Royal Palace. Notice he is wearing Ericsson blue.
This is a sculpture at the ceiling right inside the Palace door. I wasn't allowed to take pics else where so this is all you get. Sorry. Check out Erin's site for more detail.
Here is changing of the guards...well the tail end of it. hehe.
Ok if you want to see a bit more of the changing of the guards click
here. It is a quicktime movie so the file is a bit larger(4.5MB)
After a long day of storming the castle, Erin and I went to find a late lunch.
