 Sorry no pictures of Nessie. Even the tourist center there tells you that Nessie is a hoax. They have done repeated sonar sweeps of the lake and nothing showed up. But people still claim to see the monster. |
 The rumors started with the story of St. Comlumba in 565 AD. He repelled a savage sea monster as it attacked a monk. |
 The loch is shaped like a wedge. It is 700 feet deep just 70 feet from the its shore. Its bottom caverns extend down so far that no one has definitively determined how vast it really is. |
