
le Mont St-Michel is a monastery on a sort of island. During
high tide you can't get to the monastery, but low tide you can walk
to it.

Here is low tide. You can see some people in the distance. Signs everywhere
said not to go out there because of the tide and quick sand.
Guess some people thought it was worth the risk. |

After dinner, we came back to look at the sunset and the water coming
back in. Oh at dinner 2 table over were some US cyclists from the
Tour de France. Sorry, Lance wasn't with them. We did see the US
Postal Team's bus though when we were looking for a hotel. |
